BOSTON CELTICS 92 - ORLANDO MAGIC 88
Los Boston Celtics consiguieron otro triunfo apelando a la épica al remontar una desventaja de 14 puntos en el cuarto periodo para vencer por 92-88 a los Orlando Magic en el quinto partido de las semifinales de la Conferencia Este.
La victoria permitió a los Celtics ponerse con ventaja de 3-2 en la eliminatoria al mejor de siete partidos y el sexto se disputará el próximo jueves en el Amway Arena de Orlando.
Muy pocos creían que los Celtics, después de ser dominados durante los tres primeros cuartos de partido y comenzar el cuarto con una racha negativa y parcial de 63-77 cuando faltaban 8:48 minutos para el final, pudiesen darle la vuelta al marcador.

Mientras que el alero Paul Pierce aportó 19 puntos (6-11 y 7-7 ), capturó nueve rebotes, dio ocho asistencias y recuperó dos balones en una gran labor de equipo.

Los Magic, que vivieron la experiencia a la inversa de lo que sucedió en el cuarto partido, cuando también ellos vinieron de atrás para ponerse con la ventaja parcial de 85-84, antes que llegase la canasta milagrosa de Davis, no tuvieron la suerte de encontrar al jugador que hiciese lo que el héroe de los Celtics.
